Princess
Sarah Devaney-Pinsonnault

Sarah  is 24 years of age.  Her Irish heritage is on her mother’s side, from Ross Castle in Ireland.  She is presently finishing a law degree at the University of Montreal.  She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from McGill University.  Sarah has also studied languages and speaks Spanish and Italian.

Sarah works as a legal technician and as a volunteer at the International Criminal Defense Attorneys Association.  Her goal is to one day work in the Canadian foreign affairs department, dealing with human rights.

Sarah’s hobbies are playing the piano and making jewelry.  She swam competitively and spent time as a coach and lifeguard.  She enjoys dancing.

Being part of the Queen and Court is special to Sarah who entered the competition in her mother’s memory.

Briana Yerbury



Briana is 19 years of age.  Her  Irish heritage on her father’s side is from County Kilkenny .  She is presently working on her Bachelor of Arts at McGill University.  She is studying political science and the History and Philosophy of Science. In the future, she would like to work with the United Nations working on human rights and disarmament.

Briana speaks three languages, English, French and Spanish. Another of her achievements is that, upon leaving high school she was awarded the Avon Canada Scholarship. Her volunteer work is related to her studies or sports.  She was part of Ste Anne de Bellevue’s rugby club and was honoured with Junior female of the year in 2005 and most improved female of the  year in 2006.  In 2007 she joined the McGill varsity rugby team and was selected as athlete of the week , for September 17th and QSSF Rookie of the year in the Quebec University League.

Briana loves trying new things.   She likes to explore Montreal museums, parks and festivals.  She appreciates the diverse architecture Montreal has to offer.  She is hoping to secure a job with Jump Street Tours who give cultural tours of Quebec City to student groups.  She is very interested in exploring her heritage both as a Quebecer and an Irish woman.

Monica Peters



Monica is 20 years of age.  She is descendant from the Kirwin’s of Galway and the Mugans. Her Irish roots come from her mother’s side of the family.  She is currently in her first year at Concordia University specializing in Psychology.  She aspires to obtain a major in Psychology and to eventually work in a school as a counselor. She volunteers with the Quebec Association with Learning Disabilities as well as in a Research Lab at Concordia. She works part time at the YMCA as a lifeguard and teaches swimming. During the summer months she’s up at Camp Kinkora, working as a lifeguard and animator for children and adults of all ages. Finally she Irish dances and has been for six years.

Charlene O'Sullivan

Charlene is 23 years of age.  Her Irish heritage is from South Armagh, Northern Ireland.  Charlene graduated from Dawson College’s after a three- year program in Professional Theatre.  She is a part time actor.  She is presently a full time coordinator of logistics and dispatch at ROE Logistics, an international freight forwarding company. 

Charlene enjoys reading and singing, and is a frequent audience member in Montreal’s theatre community.

Jennifer Trainor


Jennifer is 18 years of age.  Her Irish heritage is from both her father and mother’s sides.  Her ancestral Irish county is County Cork.

Jennifer is currently studying at John Abbott College and is in her first year of Nursing.   She likes Irish dancing, piano composing and reading.  She enjoys working as a volunteer with the intellectually handicapped.  Jennifer plays badminton, tennis.  She also likes to horseback ride and to swim.  She is a certified lifeguard and swimming instructor.
