The City of Montreal, its elected officials, and employees have been very cooperative throughout the years as the United Irish Societies of Montreal has organized the annual parade. For several years the City of Montreal has invited the UIS to hold the press conference at City Hall, a historic and fitting location. Details of the parade are unveiled and several significant donations are announced.
